That's largely because the public mostly doesn't want to hear about complex and usually very expensive solutions to address what is a very complex, multi-faceted problem. It turns out that most people don't want to actually address and resolve the homelessness issue we're facing, they just want it to somehow magically go away without them having to lift a finger or pay a cent.

I live in a small town, various vagrants come and go. The province is pretty flat so I assume many can just walk or bike onwards.
