I'm a service provider in Winnipeg. I met my landlord as a client, he promised me I could rent this house is I spent more time with him so I did. Time went on he sent the rental application all was well but he told me that we had to make everything (paystubs etc.) all had to look legit because his girlfriend did all the paperwork and what not. He tried to go back on his work saying he was having second thoughts about renting me the house and that he doesn't think he's comfortable. So I explained to him that he promised me something and If he didn't follow through I would tell his wife what happened between me and him. He said that he in fact wasn't going back on his word and was just expressing his concerns and that we would keep it strictly business from then on. I then signed a lease, I've been here since the 1st of September, on Monday at 9:01 pm I received a message from the landlord

On September 12th I found an eviction notice rolling down my drive way also posted below ⬇️⬇️the sentence number 2 is to not have anyone staying with me for longer than a week at a time ( my boyfriend stays with me on and off as he has his own place) . I didn't hear from my landlord until yesterday I will also post below. And then today as well he came and served me with a second eviction notice also posted below. I'm curious if anyone knows if I can get in trouble for blackmail resulting in fraud as he threatened me if I didn't leave by said time he would go to the cops about what took place prior to me moving In which would be me telling him I would tell his wife as well as the paystubs I used he's trying to say are forged. Can I get charged what will happen I'm so confused.
