The quality of life in 1st world countries is about comparable regardless of where you live. You just trade one thing for another. e.g. you earn more but spend more on stuff you didn't have to back home. I guarantee this guy hasn't really done his homework.
Also living in another continent from your home really isn't something to be taken lightly. It's fun for a few months but then you start to miss your family and such and instead of a 30 minute car journey to go visit, it's an expensive affair that takes several days of travelling and international flights.
If you absolutely need to be seen as some international guy, just do some working holiday for a few months and then come back home.

People with the right skills can earn so much more in Burgerland than anywhere else in the 1st world tho. I know people think medical costs are a big thing but insurance comes with pretty much any decent paying job. You really have to drive in Burgerland and I was always bowled over by how many Europoors don't.

Unless you're willing to be treated like a gypsy, in which case Switzerland is a much better choice.

Another myth Europoors like to push on themselves is that Burgers AGI is always higher, but forget to take in all the other factors.

Having 1 or 2 weeks of vacations a year doesn't seems worth the salary increase but it's more dynamic for sure.

Yeah, they offer it, then when you actually use it they look at you with a side-eye and put your name on the top of the layoff list.

You're a cuck if you have a job in the states that only gives you the legally mandated minimum for vacation.
If you can't tell your team you're leaving for a couple weeks, it means you're useless, low-value, and replaceable.

The US is a really solid deal if you can find a way to control living costs. A high paid white collar professional in London, Paris, NYC or SF is going to have the same standard of living after costs are factored in, but if you can go to somewhere like Cleveland you can save a huge pile of cash and then do what all moderately successful bongs do and fatly occupy the Costa Del Sol bloatmaxxing in a British pub speaking no Spanish and eating disgusting British food in a country that has good cuisine
