For those of you who are ASOIAF fans/readers, what do you think about Sanderson finishing the series if GRRM kicks the bucket before “A Dream of Spring”? I see this idea popping up on reddit every once in a while.

No thanks, I'd honestly rather just read his notes or maybe one of his underlings could do it as close as they could. Either way, I'm pretty sure he's said he won't allow anyone else to finish it.

R-slurred bad idea.

Martins writing has gotten worse as the series went on but it's nowhere near as bad as sandersons. Sanderson also can't handle writing anything raunchy and GoT has a lot of raunchiness.

Sandersons abysmal prose aside (GRRM isn't exactly the greatest either) they have completely different worldviews and treat their characters and stories in almost diametrically opposed ways, Sanderson would butcher it
