The least embaressing thing you've ever written?

Oh I like this!! I can't really contribute much, I'm officially manuscripting my children's book series, though. I'd say it's going pretty well :)

yeah I'm not sharing the shit I used to blog about (startup tech stuff) and somehow had a decent audience

but I cringe every time I think about it cuz I was so earnest as a youngun

Tripped balls recently and wrote ~300 words on my phone notes about raiders returning to their floating mothership and one getting beaten by his boss while the prose sputtered and danced around it. It kept jumping, mid line, between a hyped-up 'legend-based' introduction to the ship and him getting bashed.

A lot of hedging language used for either/or statements of reality ('Mostly existed', 'sun probably rose'), that kinda thing. And redundancy e.g. 'the beatdown that happened'

It galled me because I knew I couldn't sit and type at a computer, or scribble a writing prompt on that stuff. But I had never once considered just typing on my phone, which was easy.

Despite the achievement, it felt humbling because sober me's writing just couldn't compare to tripping hystericism.
