Sapkowski is an absolute r-slur and I say this as someone who has enjoyed the games and the books.
Dude thought video games would be a fad and not actually catch on (this is early-mid 2000s) and basically only wanted a flat sum of a cash for letting CDPR to do the witcher series. Realizing the games were selling like hotcakes, especially 3, he basically fummed and demanded he wants % and like backpay n shit.
The fact he likes the netflix adaptation is why everyone thinks poles are big r-slurs only good for being a meatshield against russian aggression.
