Ray Bradbury: his short stories are very charming but i find his novels pretty dull. Like king he works best ins. A shorter anthology format.

I find myself saying this about 90% of writers, "I like their short stories but their novels are boring/bloated/etc." Especially in modern times since :marseychonkerfoid: started requiring every novel be 700pgs. and 1 in a series of 8.

Fahrenheit 451 is pure garbage, how it ended up in the "well known dystopian books" canon is beyond me.
