I've had a huge story conceptualized for over 5 years now and I haven't written anything other than a general outline of important pieces of it for reference. I don't even think it would have an audience.

I based all the setting in scp stuff. Brief summary of that setting is that there's a huge organization that makes sure anomalies and weird stuff never make it to the public eye. My story would follow a few characters and the group around them as they encounter and help contain anomalies. Basically the mc gets all the top secret data from the foundation imprinted in his brain by coincidence, and now that he knows too much has to help them using whatever he knows in different fields of research and containment.
This is underselling the shit I've been adding up over the years. I can say I already have planned out like 9 major story arcs and have put a lot of thought into the characters and bullshit supernatural things they meet and how they each interact. It's not wholly original because I would be taking most concepts straight out of the scp articles I like, but most characters would be unique to this story
