I never really understood the targeted harassment of Alex Jones. He basically just served as the outlet for Crazy Person News and was the mouthpiece for whatever crazy people on the internet were talking about that week. All the Sandy Hook and "Pizzagate" stuff he barely reported on were just collated reports of weird stuff people on 4chan, abovetopsecret, etc. nooooticed and speculated on. Conspiracy nuts don't need a figurehead like that and generally thrive more without one.

But yes. Suburbcels literally live in fortified castles with their only exposure to the outside world being through a media outlet of their choosing, so if someone has off kilter beliefs they assume it is the result of a transmission from a different source. They are truly the worst amerikkka has to offer and tragically a large % of the voting bloc
