No! Manul has better niche than Panda. Panda survives in bamboo forest but often humans will want to get rid of bamboo forest. Manul survives in cold mountainous desserts. Now that's a strong niche. No human's looking to build there. Heck even other species can't invade that. 1 million years Manul!!!

I've always felt snow leopard is peak of evolution. Here you have a big cat requiring 5k cal a day minimum to keep living(so 10k~ ish when a mother is raising her cubs) in a habitat where you can trek for 10 hours without seeing a single living creature. And there can't be many, because there is no vegetation, not even grass. How tf do they live? I can understand birds of prey in that terrain, they have remarkable advantage because of reduced mobility on ground. But leopards have to deal with it too and all the creatures that live there can usually move on incline better than the leopards can
