I tried getting uppity and bought both a bag of Jamaican Blue Moon for $45/bag and thought it was way too strong. Then I bought a Hawaiian Kona for $40/bag which was nice and smooth but nothing special.
I can see people who like ‘depth’ and lots of coffee taste with these expensive one’s but they weren’t for me.
This $20 bag of Colombian coffee I get from my Hustle Bustle coffee shop is way better. Tastes like figs and berries.
I also do pour over on a Hario and use a weight scale with a timers. My gf called me a gay.
