I'm really curious about the cabin.

Where did he rent the cabin? Was it an AirBnB?

They're in MA so did they travel up to NH or Maine or something?

Was it actually like deep in the woods like a horror movie or was it just semi rural?

All I can think of is that part of Gone Girl when Doogie Houser brings the foid back to his cabin and she kills him and claims he r*ped her.

When I was a lot younger, but only a little bit dumber than I am now, I was living in Vermont, and I started a very uinfortunate long term relationship. She had moved up from out of state and I'd only been there for a couple years. Winter in the northeast is fricking brutal. It gets cold in late November and it stays below freezing until late April / early May. It's very different from the midwest where maybe it randomly hits 60 for a few days in January. In Vermont, you might as well forget there's any temperature above 15F for about six months.

I let this girl move into my house and we were in each other's faces 24/7 because going outside was so miserable it wasn't even an option.

I don't know why I felt like sharing this. Maybe if you want to be like sir pings, rent a frick cabin and have a fun weekend and don't literally try to live with your girlfriend in the god darn arctic circle or whatever.

It do be like that.

If you're a new englander, get rid of the girl after christmas or else you'll be locked in a house with her til april.
