Sooner or later (and it really is sooner) this site and everything associated with it, including its mascot, is going to be targeted by stupid journ*lists anyway. rDrama users don't have a problem with this because they find it funny to suggest association with gross and controversial things. Their issue with WPD is overwhelmingly just an inferiority complex. This isn't to say they don't find the content and people reprehensible, but that isn't the issue they have with the association at all.

The reason people see it as the WPD cat and not the rDrama cat is because no one knows about rDrama. There is zero risk of association. The argument defeats itself and could be internally resolved by just going offline a bit more.
