A highly scientific analysis of which comments get upmarseyd here :marseychartbar:

In an effort to get to know my audience, I went through a few dozen of comments to see which ones people like. I see that what gets a lot of upmarseys is:

  • anything related to :!marseytrain:s :marseytrans2:

  • just a single marsey and no words :marseygrouphug:

  • moidmoments/foidmoments :marseyfeminist: :marseyfoidretard:

  • hating Japan :marseykamikaze:

  • insulting other users :marseyfuckyou:

  • calling anybody an r-slur or neurodivergent :marseygigaretard: :marseyautism:

What does not get upmarseys:

  • figure skating - I'm really pissed off about this. :marseyfigureskate:

  • references to old boomer music and movies :marseyboomer:

  • "dude bussy lmao" - The popularity of this phrase has declined over the years. :marseychartdowntrend:

  • replying to that butthole sidevoter @Sphereserf3232 :marseyraging:

Notice that the quality or effort put into it doesn't seem to have any impact either way.

Is this consistent with your experience? What other kinds of r-slurred low-effort bullshit can I post that will get me upmarseys?

Timing really helps. Mornings and around 5-6pm. Weekends are slow.

I do pretty well during working hours on the East Coast, where I assume we've got our highest density of users. But part of that is morning on the Best Coast, so it's hard to tell.
