When I read the play-by-play of art heists in Europe it comes down to the fact theres maybe 1 armed guard MAX and he's always in the lobby, and if there are other guards they are the most non-threatening people they could find, and the art objects lack any protection besides a lot "please dont steal our shit" feelings and maybe 1 rope partition.
