Because I bet it is your job. You're probably paid by the bail bond industry to post and raise outrage about this thing that people voted for. On purpose. Because bail reform is something they wanted.

You imply that bail is somehow part of the punishment when it's only supposed to be collateral to ensure court appearance.

If you were truly outraged you'd be advocating for quicker times to trial rather than for higher bail. But this is just some PR bullshit for the private for profit financialization of the criminal justice system.

If he already did 8 times before, then that seems to be logical, yes.

My god I hope this guy keeps himself safe if he thinks some multiple time felon was appearing in court willingly everytime. Maybe he'll be lucky and get kidnapped by the dude
