I had a friend growing up who had two moms (well, mom and very long term gf). He was my best friend growing up and I never really thought anything was weird about it. He had a sister too, who I didn’t really interact with because she younger than us and pretty shy. I went off to college and she actually attended the same college as I and I saw her at a party and mentioned that her brother was in town and was going to stop by. She gave me this really cold stare, didn’t say much and dipped pretty quickly after that. I didn’t know it at the time, but she had cut off all communication with my friend and, word at the time was, that they had a big argument.
I stopped talking to that friend shortly afterwards because he became in insufferable druggie deadbeat, but I always wondered what type of argument you could get into with a sibling that would result in you cutting off communication forever. I just learned from my mom, who learned from my former friend’s mom, that he straight up molested his sister when they were younger. Only person I knew growing up with lesbian parents and they were literally a sister toucher, or maybe worse idk.

He, and (I believe) his sister, were conceived when his mom was with his dad (they might’ve been married?). They divorced/broke up shortly before/after the daughter was born and he had two moms from elementary school through high school. I saw his dad maybe once in the entire time I knew him when he was in town for a weekend. From what I gathered he wasn’t an active presence in their life.
