Because recognising that people have different genders and sexual identities is vital in providing education on safer s*x. I didn't know that dental dams were a thing. I didn't know that you could pass on some STIs via oral s*x with someone who has a vagina. I wasn't taught basic things about my own anatomy. The clitoris wasn't mentioned. The hymen wasn't mentioned. Teaching students about safer s*x in a way that includes queer people is essential.

Gender is also important because it influences how you're perceived and your perceived roles. S*x education is about more than just s*x. It looks at the whole world of bodily autonomy, consent, identity, fertility and more. Its a much more complicated topic than you're willing to admit.

It's actually very easy to explain all of that without mentioning any sort of queer theory

God, looking at all these idiots in the comments importing US social problems. It’s literally a British tradition to have crossdressing dames and the principle boy to entertain children.

bongs seething that they're not the ones exporting their unbearable culture anymore

How fricking r-slurred do you have to be for that? If you stick diseased/infected shit in your mouth it might infect you.

As a kid (I'd guess around 8yo?) I was told to be careful to eat wild berries in the forest, because of fox tapeworms. Only eat the ones that were half a meter above ground.
