I want the ‘No' vote to win to see NGO ‘activists' weep.

It'll likely get at least double the votes, possibly triple.

Seethe will be amazing. Referendum night I'll be at someone's birthday surrounded by geriatric millennial radlib types. It could unfold in a very entertaining way, depending on how quickly the results flow in, but I could also burn a lot of bridges in doing so (which I'm ok with).

Mundine also threw his support behind a treaty process, which puts him at odds with much of the conservative No campaign.

He claimed a treaty process was more likely to succeed if the No vote was successful and said treaties were needed to resolve issues around sovereignty and give protections to Aboriginal culture and heritage.

>the only way we'll get a treaty is if we vote no, isn't that right fellow no voters ha ha wouldn't that be crazy

Yea when I saw that it really put a dampener on the whole thing. 10,000 people showed up to those COVID protests that was opposed by the full power of the state in Melbourne, that Yes could barely do 3x that is pathetic

Adelaide had a rally thingo in its central square too. I didn't go but the attendance looked ok midday. I walked that way after 3 and it was completely empty except a couple manbun types singing karaoke. Interesting vibe.
