There is crim liability if the speech is imminently inciting the suicide. So telling a rando on here to keep yourself safe is okay, butt shouting at someone on a ledge to jump is not. Idk, still not a good precedent imho

I think the threshold of evidence can be set high enough to serve as a deterrent for the worst behaviors but not low enough to be excessive but idk

I feel like the way it is makes sense, regardless of whether I agree with it. If you are asking others to commit crime that's a violation of free speech, that makes you part of the crime.
