Senior State Department officials have privately discouraged the agency from using three specific phrases in public statements, HuffPost revealed last week: “de-escalation/ceasefire,” “end to violence/bloodshed” and “restoring calm.”

The 3 phrases they use about literally every war even if one side gang raping kids and chopping their hands off. :marseyhmm:

This is like in 1982 when Secretary of State Alexander Haig was cheering on Ariel Sharon's invasion of Lebanon. All the career diplomats were hoping he would get fired and after a while he was, because Reagan wasn't a tard who would tie America's prestige and credibility to the Likud party. Unfortunately we don't seem to have leaders with any moral courage anymore.
