I would abolish cash and money as a concept. Replace it with credits. People receive credits from labor. All stores would be owned by the state or the community.

I'm sure the idea needs to be refined and worked out and probably doesn't make any sense... but that's my idea for a society.

The wealthiest person would be as wealthy as the poorest person. No money, resource distribution is handled by rationing with enough slack that it shouldn't be felt, especially with a strong cultural emphasis on minimalism and deriving joy not from empty consumerism but from strong social bonds. Anything that is too scarce/unique would need to be distributed by lottery and anything too extravagant would need to be eliminated. Architectural beauty should all be in public spaces such as plazas/parks/etc.
