What Congress needs to get done in January, explained - Vox

Nothing fun will happen unless the House Freedom caucus can squeeze Johnson into not backing into Sleepy Joe's and Senate Democrats demands.

If it was up to me, no Defense spending, no farm subsidies, I'd let the government shutdown for months, unless Congress passes at least a 75% cut in the Defense budget, with audits, cuts in corporate subsidies, and claw back the PPP money from businesses, and require a tax increase of 26% for capital gains, including real estate. And a $26/hour federal minimum wage, plus the Pro Act, plus Codetermination (employees would directly elect half the board of directors, plus the chair of the board).

And abolish the NSA and CIA.

And all must pass, or I would keep the Federal government shut down all year and next year.
