Women are more easily emotionally manipulated than men are and leftist activists are very good at exploiting that and shaming to get them to fall in line. What makes things worse is the massive amount of feel-good content for women that implicitly or explicitly suggests women aren't vulnerable to emotional manipulation. :marseysigh:

Married women trend more con though because the men they marry pull them that way as they are now their "social group"

I don't think they change their beliefs because of their social group; they just pick up some of your beliefs when you tell it from your perspective. Foids I've dated picked up my anti-immigration, anti-government takes, anti-BLM riots, and most of our social circle were liberals.

Women don't have beliefs

Mine has done the same, but I think we just disagree on the underlying mechanism for why their opinions shift. You're saying it's because they're just seeing your perspective I'm saying that it's because your perspective becomes worth more to them than others since you become their main social group

progressive ideology has at it's core a utopian vision of the future. those who are naive look at the beauty of the stated values and goals. those who are cynical ask what it would cost and whether it can even be done in the first place :marseythebuilder: .

i think progressive, collective visions of the future appeal far more to women than to men.

Research points to gender differences in individualism and collectivism (e.g., Gilligan, 1982; Kashima et al. 1995; Maccoby, 1990; Singelis,1994). At the broadest level, women appear to be less individualistic and more collectivistic than do men (Cross & Madson, 1997; Hofstede, 2001; Markus & Kitayama, 1991; Triandis, 1995). For instance, women are more willing and able to care for others (Gilligan, 1982), are more aware of and sensitive to others' needs (Markus & Kitayama, 1991), are more likely to provide social support to others (Wellman, 1992; Wethington, McLeod & Kessler, 1987), view others as more sociable (Marcus & Lehman, 2002. and describe themselves in terms of relatedness to others (Rosenberg, 1989; also see Cramer, 2000), all of which are hallmarks of collectivism. In contrast, men are more likely to focus on themselves than on others (Clancy & Dollinger, 1993), to endorse competitive goals (Gaeddert & Facteau, 1990), and to describe themselves as separate from others (Lyons, 1983), which are characteristics of individualism.

women appear to have a vested interest in solving problems at the societal level, whereas men prefer to place the burden on the individual to fix their own problems. this necessarily results in very different ideas about what the role of the state should be :marseygasden: .

I think this also plays a role into why women across most cultures are more religious than men.
