Okay, then educated me. Im willing to listen and learn something new and admit I'm wrong. When has the arab world ever even tried to make a midway deal for peace in the middle east. Why do you think Isreal is so wrong?

Really serious negotiations started around the mid-1970s, quickly leading to the peace treaty with Egypt. This was like the biggest thing that has ever happened in diplomacy ever. And that treaty has held ever since, even when the Muslim Brotherhood took over Egypt. Since then almost every Arab country has made peace with Israel. I mean think about it. Which ones actually oppose Israel in any way? Lebanon... kind of. Palestine... kind of. And most of those deals were not meeting Israel halfway, they were accepting getting screwed.
It's not so much that I think they've always been the bad guys. It's that I've watched the Arabs get more reasonable over the years while the Israelis get more intransigent. They just cannot take a W. They need to constantly be at war with someone because they know their society will fall apart without an external enemy.

This I would have absolutely agreed with 10 years ago. I think with how intertwined state funded terrorism has become in the ME, they missed their chance at a reasonable solution when they didnt just play nice in the 70s and 80s. Hamas doesnt become an attractive party to vote for putting us in this mess. I can see their POV about the past wars and not being able to trust people calling for your extermination, but at that time they had nothing to really worry about.
So you're right, i forgot about that and its a valid point.
This, though, I 100 percent agree with. Just like Palenstine needs to purge Hamas, isreal needs to purge it's religous fanatics. The US should force them to disband their ultra orthodox groups if they want another cent of aid. Im sick of my tax dollars going to religious zealots on both sides of this while they both use pictures of their dead children as begging bowls to get more money to kill each other with from the rest of the world.
