Article itself is r-slurred

Question is do you have to roll down your window

Article is "well I think you should" which nobody fricking asked

Actual answer is generally "you have to crack it enough to talk and exchange documents. You do not have to roll it down. However, the cop can just ask you to step out for his safety, and you have to do that if asked."

a lot of people dont realize too, that if you piss the cop off and he violates your rights/arrests you unlawfully youre still going to jail and generally theyre gonna get a paid vacation and maybe a demotion worse case scenario. As ive heard lawyers say before "you may be able to beat the charges, butt you cant beat the ride."

the venn diagram of people mad about paid vacations and people who think unions will save the world is a circle

which is funny, because the paid vacations exist because the union says you can't take his paycheck until the discipline is negotiated 9 times out of 10

But yes. If you're standing up for your rights by pissing off a cop you should expect to possibly get arrested and escalated to the point you may need to file suit
