They decapitate with a sword don't they? That's a heck of a mess.

Modern day Mecca has huge racial admixture from East Africa. He could be an African migrant or just a mulatto Arab.

We need a weeb here to explain why ackshually a katana is the superior choice for decapitating prisoners.

It’s not, the sword is very thin and requires a precise cut to decapitate. Decapitating someone by cutting their neck precisely while they’re still is the only thing it’s good for, but it’s very good at it. It could easily be broken by a katana, but a katana is better for slashing and stabbing. Slashing really fast with a katana imparts too much momentum on the object being cut instead of mostly slicing. Though, a katana is usually pretty thin, and probably better than most European war swords if it were to be used for this purpose.

I’m not a warfare or arms guy, I just used to be a regular on /r/watchpeopledie (RIP) on the video of an execution, and someone explained that in the comments. The cut was insanely careful and quick, and I was surprised by how little mess was made, the neck didn’t even start bleeding until the body hit the ground. I also watched an interview of those execution guys, and it was someone explaining that the job is passed down in the family and is pretty traditional and respected. They’re trained to cut perfectly and consistently, because capital punishment is a ritualistic thing over there.
Weird, but cool. I also learned there that it’s much better to get captured by ISIS than a South American drug cartel.

Lmao I don’t think so. Simitars are heavier. I’ve watched vids of those executions their heads pop right off.
