Son,

I have tried to keep quiet about your character and behavior, but after listening to the way you made Samantha feel today, I cannot stay silent. And as a woman and your mother I feel I must speak out..

You are an abuser of women — that is the ugly truth and I have no respect for any man that belittles, lies, cheats, sleeps around, and uses women for his own power and ego. You are that man (and have been for years) and as your mother, it pains me and embarrasses me to say that, but it is the sad, sad truth.

I am not a saint, far from it.. so don't throw that in my face,. but your abuse over the years to women (dishonesty, sleeping around, betrayal, debasing, belittling) needs to be called out.

Sam is a good mother and a good person (under the circumstances that you created) and I know deep down you know that. For you to try to label her as "unstable" for your own advantage is despicable and abusive. Is there any sense of decency left in you? She did not ask for or deserve any of what has come to her by your hand. Neither did Meredith.

I know you think this is one big competition and that we have taken her side… bunk… we are on the side of good and that is not you. (Go ahead and call me self-righteous, I dont' care)

Don't you dare run to her and cry foul that we shared with us… that's what babies do. It's time for someone (I wish it was a strong man) to stand up to your abusive behavior and call it out, especially against women

We still love you, but we are broken by your behavior and lack of character. I don't want to write emails like this and never thought I would. If it damages our relationship further, then so be it, but at least I have said my piece. [Redacted]

And yes, we are praying for you (and you don't deserve to know how we are praying, so skip the snarky reply)

I don't want an answer to this… I don't want to debate with you. You twist and abuse everything I say anyway. But… On behalf of all the women (and I know it's many) you have abused in some way, I say… get some help and take an honest look at yourself…

Mom

President Biden has pardoned his son Hunter of whatever crime he had committed ( I am too lazy to find out ). The average redditors have suddenly decided that they either don't care or that its okay because Trump does it as well. With some of the redditors even justifying it as a father's love, or that felony crimes no longer matter much and aren't a big deal ( they were the biggest deal in the world when Trump did it. A few years back crossing state lines was an unforgivable crime as per the average redditor! ).

The US citizen in still in denial that both sides are the same in terms of how much better than you the average citizen they think they are, and how far above the law they see themselves. The only difference being that one side is willing to bribe you with free gibs in exchange for ignoring their misadventures, and the other side believes that they don't need to pay you at all because they status permits the breaking of the law and your opinion is irrelevant.

America IS the richest oligarchy in the world, and it is only going to get worse from here now. The signs of empire decay become ever more visible decade after decade. I am pulling my deadline prediction for when the US state would begin to stagnate and fail, back all the way down to 2050.

But in case you're wondering...

SYDNEY, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Australia on Thursday passed into law a social media ban for children aged under 16 after an emotive debate that gripped the nation, setting a benchmark for jurisdictions around the world with one of the toughest regulations targeting Big Tech. The law forces tech giants from Instagram and Facebook owner Meta (META.O), opens new tab to TikTok to stop minors logging in or face fines of up to A$49.5 million ($32 million). A trial of methods to enforce it will start in January with the ban to take effect in a year. The Social Media Minimum Age bill sets Australia up as a test case for a growing number of governments which have legislated or said they plan to legislate an age restriction on social media amid concern about its mental health impact on young people.

And the real kicker...

Getting the law passed after a marathon last day of Australia's parliamentary year marks a political win for centre-left Prime Minister Anthony Albanese who goes to an election in 2025 amid sagging opinion polls. The ban faced opposition from privacy advocates and some child rights groups, but 77% of the population wanted it, according to latest polls.

:bruh:

Against the backdrop of a parliamentary inquiry through 2024 which heard evidence from parents of children who had self-harmed due to social media bullying, domestic media backed the ban led by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp (NWSA.O), opens new tab, the country's biggest newspaper publisher, with a campaign called "Let Them Be Kids". The ban could however strain Australia's relationship with key ally the United States, where X owner Elon Musk, a central figure in the administration of president-elect Donald Trump, said in a post this month it seemed a "backdoor way to control access to the Internet by all Australians". It also builds on an existing mood of antagonism between Australia and mostly US-domiciled tech giants. Australia was the first country to make social media platforms pay media outlets royalties for sharing their content and now plans to threaten them with fines for failing to stamp out scams.

VPN companies are just relishing in this newfangled opportunity :marseymerchant:

TL;DR - Australia continues to be a land of cucked bootlickers, and now the kiddos down under really do a loicence to browse da web...

One thing I like about burger politics, is how your politicians actually have the dependence and not be some party whip's b-word.
