I was still pretty new then, but that day is seared into my memory forever. I go to rdrama and instead of all the entertaining and informative content I've come to expect, it's totally shut down. Except that there's a few grim-faced mid-level jannies reading out a statement that they call "General Order Number 1 of the Revolutionary Command Council". It was that and then a lot of military marching songs played in a loop.
In hindsight it's pretty funny that /u/chtorrr of all people intervened to save /r/drama. I had no idea who this person was until placegate.
