The only thing I know about the Horizon games is they keep getting released on the same day as tentpole Nintendo games. Is it bad luck, or is purposeful sliding out a bad game to avoid bad press?

that was just the first one although it still did well as far as I know. The sequel released around the same time as Elden Ring which makes it kinda hilarious and sad. I still liked both horizon games. Some of it is a bit obnoxious yes but overall I think they are still good. At least the protagonist for the horizon games hasn't been replaced by an ugly fat black woman (yet) like they do to every fictional redhead character.

TLoU1 is a great piece of reactionary media, too bad Druckmann got pozzed. HZD has really good combat, but also a complete nothing of a protagonist and everything related to the worldbuilding is trash. Returnal is a good game. Spider-Man has worse web swinging than Spider-Man 2 for the PS2. God of War is good, the sequel is Marvel writer trash.

OG Kratos is a real greek tragedy in how fricking awful he's treated. In the PSP game he meets his daughter in Elysium and he has to leave again in order to stop Persephone. There's a quick time event where you push your daughter away and hear her crying and begging you to stay while leaving the zone. Kratos never sees her again. He brutalises Persephone for it.
