Basically he's yelling at (like he's literally using half the tweets to lecture) younger-music-reviewer-him for actually giving weight to “the scene” and not musicians as fully actualized individuals and artists or whatever—you know, behaving like someone who actually should be reviewing a less-than-mainstream genre of music and culture—and for using harmful phrases like “older women” and applying this harmful phrase to a barely legal near-40-year-old schoolgirl.

It's completely normal to be critical of your previous self as youve most likely grown and matured since then with a ton of lessons in between.
It's r-slurred to use your current self as the purity test against that because in another 20 years, you'll probably look at your current self as moronic and uninformed. We're all constantly growing and learning and to boost yourself as finally having it together and being perfect shows immaturity.
