[Verse 1]
School day, hands flap, suddenly I squeal
Toy train, blue cap, chicken every meal
My brain goes back to Wendy's
When I spilled milk on my tendies and
Opened crying eyes
Into my mother's thighs,
She packs the food and grabs a wipe
Picks me up and we are gone
Now I know I ruined her life
And my father he soon realized that
Certain sounds are way too much
And I'm sensitive to touch and
[Pre-Chorus]
I'm not making eye contact
And if my train falls off the track
Then I'm shaking on the ground
My jacket's at the lost and found
[Chorus]
They hope, that I will one day learn to talk
They know, that I could be more than just some kid who toe walks
[Verse 2]
Look around me 'cause I'm standing in the
Center of your vision field
Don't move me or I'll start screaming
And I'll probably never yield and
When I start to shake my head
Banging hands against my desk
Making you wish I was dead
At least that's what my parents said
[Chorus]
They hope, that I will one day learn to talk
They know, that I could be more than just some kid who toe walks
[Bridge]
Legos littering my floor, I'm wearing cargo shorts
Refusing to change
Legos littering my floor, and still I'm stimming more
Let's eat, more tendies
[Verse 3]
School day, hands flap, suddenly I squeal
Toy train, blue cap, chicken every meal
My brain goes back to Wendy's
When I ruined all my tendies and
Tendencies to misbehave
Think of all the time they'd save
But with their child they just can't
'Cause he's the neurodivergent with no chance
[Chorus]
They hope, that I will one day learn to talk
They know, that I could be more than just some kid who toe walks
Everyone around just gawks
More than just some kid who toe walks

Banger. I'd be tasting blood for a week if I tried to sing that.

Have you ever watched any of Melissa Cross' videos on how to scream? She tells stories of famous metal singers who have no idea how to warm up or scream properly, so they frick up their voices night one of every tour and then they're mute aside from their 45 minutes singing on stage every night.

I have not but I if I had to guess it's because they were screaming from their throat and not their gut, right? It requires more effort but has a fuller sound, like singing from the diaphragm instead of the throat.

Yeh it's all diaphragm. Some of her warmup exercises are great, good general warmups gradually moving into shouting.
