I literally don't understand the mindset of rightoids who find this to be charming, rather than cringe. Same with leftoids who find leftist versions, like Pelosi kneeling in African clothing or whatever, to be charming rather than cringe. They all seem like subhumans to me.

I need a better theory of mind, obviously. I'm smarter than them, but how much am I really smarter than these wingcuck idiots if I can't actually mentally model their pathetic brains?

Am I overthinking things? Maybe the mental model is just "media that supports my ideology -> dopamine", and there's nothing more than that. But that doesn't explain, how did they become wingcucks in the first place? Not all stupid people are wingcucks. Many stupid people are politically apathetic, and there are also intelligent wingcucks out there. Intelligence and wingcuckery seem to be largely, though not entirely, orthogonal.

What takes a happy, innocent little baby and turns him or her into a wingcuck? Is there a wingcuck gene? Are even such babies at some level already wingcucks? Maybe, but I'd like to think not.
