Why is the number 12 everywhere?

I remember when some lefty cute twink made a video crying about veritasium talking about self driving cars (because muh elon musk le bad or something idfc) and veritasium responded to it. Yet when the OG dramaking Thunderf00t proved by experiment that veritasium was wrong he didn't respond to it. Ever since then I hated him. Respond to lefty cute twinks crying but not to people calling out shoddy pop science. Pretty cringe! :marseyfamily:

Source? Source? Do you have a source for that?

I think the first explanation is probably right, it feels random because its primey, very unround, and because its unwieldy in base 10 it doesnt show up often in day-to-day, unlike 90. For the same reason coinflip sequence HHHTTT feels different from the sequence HTTHTH but they have the same probability, brains make them feel different. The rest is just fun facts about 37, whether as a trick later to be revealed or part of Derek's ongoing self admitted goal of click baiting, l guarantee you you'll find just as much stuff to throw at the wall as any other integer.

Yeah a lot of the reasons he gave to why 37 is a special number were kinda forced IMO. The only thing going for it that is special mathematically is that 1/e is β‰ˆ 37%. There are so many ways you can categorize primes that it's not really special imo

first thing that came to mind for me is that a hex grid seven hexes across has 37 cells, is that in the video?
