The only cool futuristic pieces of military tech that I know of are the AR glasses and the rail gun on the navy battleships that I hear was then taken off due to how much damage it did to the ships per shot.
We already got drone warfare
Also this terminator machine gun shit:
What else is out there that I do not know about? What are some cool military technologies in development and what are some other cool military technologies already out there?

The secret embassy weapons? Yeah I heard of those.
Vaporize with sound does sound crazy. That I haven't seen so far. Who is testing that right now.

The basic concept is that the sound creates tiny pockets of massive oscillating pressure to basically explode things molexularly. Most notably used in ultrasonic cleaners but they're expanding the function

That sounds awesome
Could you make a sound nuke with it?

Mayodetector 2000
But my actual answer would be mostly under the hood improvements to existing tech. Not sure if any truly novel capacities will be developed by then. By 2040 there probably will be (robotics, some early spaceship prototype).
I can see a Star Wars like World War by the end of this century, barring some major global event that changes this trajectory.

I agree. All progress in technologies is iterative. Exception - nuclear bomb.
Fighter jets used to be novel but Boeing is fricking shit up this decade so who knows.
Robots I am putting for 2030's.
Spaceship prototypes I am putting for 2060's unless by spaceship you mean NASA rocket but with military logo on it instead of the spaceships like in CoD future warfare.
Star wars like world war by the end of this century I disagree. Too big a gap from where we are right now.
You need at least 30 year gap to feel like you are looking at something completely different and on a separate level rather than just a natural continuation.
By 2030 we will have tanks with smart defense systems and reactive technologies and stealth mechanics integrated into its systems.
By 2060 we will again see a complete jump, likely to tanks that are either fully automated or only require one pilot.
By 2090 we can expect a tank/ gundam hybrid.

I haven't heard of these
I have heard of this. By the time we understand the science behind this we're going to have major problems rebuilding and upgrading our ships, because all of our ship builders are aging boomers.
The real question is how much of this high-tec gear will be useful? The only thing of substance will be NGAD. IT will be insanely over budget, and malfunction more than the f-35, but it will be crucial to securing U>S dominance for the next couple decades until we get NNGAD.
Other than that we're probably just gonna see a whole bunch of boring yet crucial electronic warfare shit.

New fighter jets always change who dominates the skies.
Alright. Thanks.

There's the BAE Tempest project, but it kind of got stuck. I also expect the Bell V-280 to enter in service by then

Probably tanks with integrated drones that can mark targets through walls and show the crew a top down view.

Through walls I find unlikely you gotta put shit up against the wall to do that these days.
Rest I agree.
