I live under a training/exercise route and I was finally standing next to a window during a flyover; it was flying low enough for me to ID it (and see the sun reflecting off of the canopy).

I am apparently working in the flightpath that Boeing uses for test flights from the St Louis Plant. Got overflown by an Eagle last month and a pair of Hornets a couple weeks ago.
That's awesome, I'd love to see hornets fly at some point but I'm pretty far from the ocean or any Boeing factory. The training route I live under isn't used super often, we only get flyovers 2 or 3 times a year and every time until now I've been indoors and away from a properly angled window.
And (I assume) it's always strike eagles over us, since that's what they have at the nearest base (which is still very far away).
