I used to read old war comics when I was a kid- titles like 'Commando' and 'Battle'. They used to try and have as many international stories as possible featuring soldiers who weren't just Burgers and Bongs (they even had a few stories from the Kraut perspective) and several times they seized hard on the Burgers lend-leasing Corsairs to the Royal Australian Airforce. In every single comic there was always a pilot called "Bluey" and I have never met a Convictstani called that, which is disappointing.
