Tuesday will mark the launch of the first Polaris mission, commanded by Billionaire Jared Isaacman, who was also the commander of the Inspiration4 mission back in 2021.
Joining him are former USAF Lieutenant Colonel Scott Poteet (mission pilot), SpaceX Sarah Gillis (mission specialist 1) and SpaceX Anna Menon (mission specialist 2).
On day one they will enter an ecliptic 190x1400 km orbit, the highest apogee ever for a non-lunar mission surpassing Gemini 11.
On day 3 they will reduce the apogee at 700km and perform a spacewalk. The Dragon cabin will fully depressurize and they will test SpaceX experimental EVA suits. On day 4 they will test starlink coms and on day 5 they will make their preparations to return to Earth.

I didn't watch the vid you'd linked the other day, kinda curious, did USAF Lieutenant Colonel Scott Poteet (mission pilot) receive a dispensation or is he retired or is this a joint mission?

He retired in 2016. Not a join mission, it's entirely private and funded by Isaacman and probably SpaceX itself as two of their employees (Gillis and Menon) are flying on it.
Fun fact, Anna Menon's husband, Anil Menon, is a NASA astronaut. He was selected in 2021 as part of Group 23.

That's neat, it's 3:30PM local time and we'll both be at home that day so I'll try to remember to pull up the stream. One day I hope to take the family to Cape Canaveral, growing up we went a couple times and it's a fun trip. If you ever get the chance to return to DC/nothern Virginia the two locations of the Air & Space museum both have a lot of spacecraft to check out and you can walk inside of a real classic NASA cockpit.

@Corinthian to the National Mall before she wasn't 
enough to want to read or wait for me to check every single plaque inside but even with my aforementioned indifference to these topics I definitely did. Gotta read everything when at a museum. 
She did like seeing the jewelry display in the Smithsonian Natural History museum.
