Architecture Posting. The Minhocão (Big Worm), University of Brasilia campus

Designed by Oscar Niemeyer and built between 1963-1971 it is officially known as "Central Institute of Science". The Big Worm has a total length of 696 meters, it was made of prefabricated reinforced concrete.

In that building there are 7 institutes and 3 faculties which are part of the University of Brasilia.

:marseyno: liminal spaces are spaces you're only supposed to pass through, hence they give a weird feeling when they're the destination, or you're trapped in them. Or at least they did before an obscure academic work somehow crossed over into normie indieslop and destroyed the whole concept.
