Agressive Urban Off-Road

Back in 2005 I travelled out to Utah to go and hang out with Christian Stevenson (DJBBQ) who was shooting The Groms Ride the Rockies for the Channel 5. We were travelling around in a massive camper van with all the young British skiers and snowboarders. I got over excited on day 1 up in the Park City snow park, found the biggest jump I could and overshot it with a massive frontside 90 to toe edge (slide 2). I popped my lung and had a pneumothorax meaning there was air between the lung and the rib cage that needed draining. 5 days with a tube hanging out of me in a Salt Lake City hospital surrounded by people with gun shot wounds. I wasn't allowed to fly for a couple of weeks so drove the camper van to Colorado with Tim Warwood. When I got there we stayed with Javier Fernadez so I told my insurance I didn't need a hotel but could I have a hire car instead, they said yes and I went straight to the hire centre and got this truck. On the way out of the door they told me that there was no excess on the insurance. I'd heard a rollerblader say to me once that he did aggressive in-line skating so I thought I'd combine the two. Street driving in a hire car...... and with this Aggressive Urban Off-Roading was born.
