I linked a guide but i didn't actually read it to know if it's any good. Anyone can do it. You do not need to be able to write, or be sexual in anyway. You can either try to hit a good niche and try to succeed with a few short stories or you can just churn out 500 books and win that way. Either way poor karens will ALWAYS buy these, or rent them etc.

I see it all the time. It' happens a lot. It's because they are poor and think they will make lots of money in their jammies just because they want to, so some sexy Indian dude comes around and tells them to convert 1000 images to PDF (this is a real example lol) and then when it comes time for them to get paid thinking someone would pay $50/hour for this, the sexy Indian dude asks for a $100 security fee for them to get paid. And lemme tell you it works really well. If I was a poor, I'd probably get into this shit cuz they make bank. They hit anyone too. Doesn't matter if it's USA poors or India poors. They hit them all with this.

that being said you can just straight up sell your stories to someone who publishes them under a pen name. You don't make shit doing this and do not get passive income. I would consider that a scam.

I wish I could remember the name of the chinese amazon ebook spammer. He said his goal was to have 1 million "how to" books there. I want to say it was "how to expert" and the reviews for this guy were hilarious, because he'd get some poor to write 50k words for $100 and throw it up there. The people bitching about terrible writing were hilarious.
I worked for a small publisher for a time, so I know you can still make money but you have to come up with something unique. Most people don't write anything unique though or the writing is just really bad.
