Hello, welcome to 'I see the poors are pretending to be big wallet gangstas again'
This hole exists as a safe space for refugees from the Facebook(MetaTM groups of the same name. Of which there have been several iterations. We mostly exist to poke fun at the state of living in poverty. While it oftentimes is unavoidable, we do aspire to not be meanspirited. Over the years we have co-opted the term 'Peak Poor' to being someone who exudes poverty, regardless of their actual net worth. Trump and Elon both exhibit the peak poor ethos from time to time while still being the top 0.000001%. You can do something peak poor and still be a good person or a generally adjusted one. We all have a bit of poor in us.
We basically fill a niche similar to fatpeoplehate with a bit less actual malice.
PeakPoor is shotgunning mountain dews at 5 years old.
PeakPoor is not people dying of poverty. While technically the greatest heights of poverty is succumbing to it this is not funny, and is a failure
of capitalism. We do not make fun of poverty to be mean spirited such as that.
Read the room, if it's punching down too hard or really digging into someone whos a sympathetic character it doesn't belong here. (basically READ THE ROOM)

Well, assuming you're living to 80 and you're eating about half a pound of meat per day, that's around 7 tons of meat in your lifetime.
If you're eating an even split of beef, pork and poultry that's like three whole cows, a couple dozen pigs and hundreds of hens.
That's not including all the calves that die if you eat dairy. I for one eat about half a pound of dairy products per day, so I'm sure I'm single-handedly responsible for the death of dozens of calves.
Not too shabby if I do say so myself.

even then there's no guarantee that the minced meat you're eating, in burgers/sausage/kebab/fast food, comes from the same animal
heck, tesco had horse meat in the ready meals for a time (personally im not against eating horse, it'll soon be added to the british cuisine inshallah)
maybe we're each esponsible for 100000s of animals deaths

also do you know about that guy who would frick cow hearts hooked up to a battery (to make them pulse) and died of electric shock haha

I mean obviously yeah I'm just saying if you eat one ton of beef well you probably ate like one or two cows depending on breed.
Horse is great, I love it. Being a frog means I can find it at pretty much any decent butcher or even in bigger stores.
That cow heart thing is messed up lol, was that in bongistan?

Horses are for riding and labor, not for food. Frogs also eat frogs and snails so maybe dont take their culinary advice

Cows are also for labor. Frogs taste pretty okay, it's just so small I don't understand why anyone would bother. It's like eating miniature chicken.
