Rolexes just strike me as something poor people buy to make themselves feel rich.

I know that's not the only demographic that buys them, but it's a sizeable chunk.

I never realized it before but after browsing that sub for like 2 minutes I gotta say.. Rolex watches are fricking ugly.

I mean just take a look at the posts there Holy shit. Imagine spending like $10k on a watch that looks that bad. My 130€ Fossil watch looks better than almost everything on that front page

I bought a submariner 8 years ago and it has more than doubled in price - at one point almost tripled. I get to wear a beautiful watch and make money.
