I had a manic episode and now I'm $80k in debt

I had a serious manic episode about a year ago and I now find myself $80k+ in debt.

It's not my fault, the manic episode made me do it :marseymeds:

This isn't the first time this has happened. The last time I had to declare Chapter 7, over 3 years ago.

I wonder how much she racked up in debt just three years ago before gettin clean, hittin therapy, then going on an $80k bender all over again.

Should I just stop paying all non-secured debt which is the majority and take the credit hit

Is she in the midst of another manic episode causing her to make irrational/irresponsible decisions?

I am also working through therapy

:marseyeggirl:

What did you buy? Sell all of it and start paying off the debt

Nothing that I can sell now.

:marseychonkerfoid:

But seriously how do you go on a "manic" and spend $80,000 and have nothing to show for it? What could she possibly have spent this money on.

I make around 2100 a paycheck every 2 weeks,

So around 50k a year.

How long does a manic episode last for you to end up with that much debt. I'm doubtful all that debt is from sundry personal expenditure only. Most likely this r-slur invested in some shady shit through borrowing that went tits up
