I had a serious manic episode about a year ago and I now find myself $80k+ in debt.
It's not my fault, the manic episode made me do it 
This isn't the first time this has happened. The last time I had to declare Chapter 7, over 3 years ago.
I wonder how much she racked up in debt just three years ago before gettin clean, hittin therapy, then going on an $80k bender all over again.
Should I just stop paying all non-secured debt which is the majority and take the credit hit
Is she in the midst of another manic episode causing her to make irrational/irresponsible decisions?
I am also working through therapy
What did you buy? Sell all of it and start paying off the debt
But seriously how do you go on a "manic" and spend $80,000 and have nothing to show for it? What could she possibly have spent this money on.

I dated a bipolar chick once. She was probably the hottest and most sexually talented person I’ve ever been with, but aside from the s*x it was the worst two months of my life. Until then I never knew how bad one person could make your life.

During a manic episode, people often have delusions of grandeur and their impulse control flies out the window which as you can imagine leads to situations like this. A manic episode is almost on par with schizophrenia in terms of how little control someone has over their thoughts and actions; idg why people are smugposting and pretending that it's fake.
