Most people 21-24 should have a decent job. Even low paying fresh-from-uni/first promotion 60k a year jobis enough for a nice 1br apartment with vacations. Reddit, like most poors, cannot conceive the idea of saving. Paycheques are to be used in full and replenished every other Friday.

If you live in a low cost of living state, you can get by on $45-50k easy right out of school. But to redditors, living in a high cost of living city eating takeout every night is a human right.

Heck my expenses are so low I could easily live on 20k a year. You just have to be smart with money.

In law school right now. Between my savings and my stipend I'm doing great without needing student loans. Meanwhile the idiots who've taken out $300k for their education because they were too dumb for scholarships are both complaining about being poor and DoorDashing a single order of McDonald's fries for $10.
