Duster huffers? Suppose I should've known that was a thing.

It's literally just denying your brain oxygen, but because it's compressed air, it comes out cold and you can get freezer burns in your mouth from huffing it.

It's wayyyy worse, they add bitterant to the stuff. Even avoiding the frost by using a t-shirt or a towel they will have Nintendo DS cartridge taste in their mouth for hours.

How does it compare to nitrous oxide?

It's the same exact high, just for people who can't into making a cracker (less than $10) and can't find a decent nitrous source (online or GFS)

I have a whipping siphon and a large supply of nitrous oxide cartridges and I have never used it to get high. Only for whipped cream and carbonating grapes (not a mormon but I feel like this is the most relevant marsey)
!noalcohol idk if there's a no drugs group but this seems relevant
!goyslopenjoyers I'm sorry but goyslop whipped cream just doesn't compare to the real thing. I've failed all of you

put a bunch of grapes and some grape juice in a whipping siphon and charge it with CO2 cartridges. Let it sit in the fridge for a while and then you'll have carbonated grapes
you can do it with other fruit too, like kiwis

I think it's more effective because it doesn't lower your blood pH. When you hold your breath, CO2 accumulates in your blood as H2CO3, a weak acid, which lowers your blood pH and triggers your breathing instincts- for example, people with certain types of brain damage will get Cheyne-Stokes respiration where their breath rate is largely controlled by blood CO2 levels- High blood CO2 -> faster breathing which overcompensates -> low blood CO2 -> slower breathing which overcompensates -> high blood CO2 and the cycle continues).
Duster is some kind of inert gas that isn't going to affect your CO2 levels or blood pH, so you can really evacuate your lungs of Oxygen without the immediate instinct to breath, allowing you to effectively suffocate yourself for short periods of time. Obviously this is very bad for your brain, which is one of the first things to start dying from Oxygen deprivation.
