Hello, welcome to 'I see the poors are pretending to be big wallet gangstas again'
This hole exists as a safe space for refugees from the Facebook(MetaTM groups of the same name. Of which there have been several iterations. We mostly exist to poke fun at the state of living in poverty. While it oftentimes is unavoidable, we do aspire to not be meanspirited. Over the years we have co-opted the term 'Peak Poor' to being someone who exudes poverty, regardless of their actual net worth. Trump and Elon both exhibit the peak poor ethos from time to time while still being the top 0.000001%. You can do something peak poor and still be a good person or a generally adjusted one. We all have a bit of poor in us.
We basically fill a niche similar to fatpeoplehate with a bit less actual malice.
PeakPoor is shotgunning mountain dews at 5 years old.
PeakPoor is not people dying of poverty. While technically the greatest heights of poverty is succumbing to it this is not funny, and is a failure
of capitalism. We do not make fun of poverty to be mean spirited such as that.
Read the room, if it's punching down too hard or really digging into someone whos a sympathetic character it doesn't belong here. (basically READ THE ROOM)

one time in high school we were all incredibly high on cough syrup and decided to go walk around walmart. the second we walked in i freaked out because it was so bright and said we should leave. one of my friends made this face
and then TOOK OFF SPRINTING THROUGH THE STORE.
we went and found a a payphone and called his preacher dad and said
hey, tim is in walmart drunk. you might wanna get him before he gets in trouble. 
. his response 
he's already in jail. 
. it took like 20 or 30 minutes before we got to a payphone. apparently that was WAY TOO SLOW.
a week or two later when he got out of juvenile hall (for the second time. the year before we ate way too many mushrooms and he stole his sisters car. got pulled over going 5 MPH. at the police station he said to one of the cops
hey, yer eyes are lookin' pretty glazed...YOU BEEN EATING DONUTS? 
. another friend was already in the police station for an unrelated thing and saw it all happen.) he told the story. he went and stole some duster. went to a neighborhood across from walmart and started huffing. passed out in someones yard. woke up to the cops poking him.
we spent that entire summer cough syrup high. good times. which might be the most

I'm assuming you're talking about codeine and not dxm? Is coned a yuropoor? Running on dxm is not physically possible (for more than a few feet anyway)
Sometimes I wonder how I made it out of that part of my life with zero police interactions, and then I remember that I wasn't completely r-slurred (only partially) and didn't do that shit in public
