no drama, just degeneracy

I haven't paid for meat since the pandemic started.

I don't do it but only because I'm a kitty. My girlfriend does the trick where she saves the label from a bag of peanuts she bought so she can charge things as the self checkout as peanuts and I really respect her for it.

I shoplift at Whole Foods only. Salad bar, high ph water, sourdough, Gouda blocks. I do it mostly because I hate Whole Foods and the price increase they did at the salad bar since the pandemic with a passion. I make between 85-100k. It’s only 60% about the money

nearly all of my clothes are shoplifted

I looooove to steal from Whole Foods. I just toss everything in my tote bag as I’m shopping and then “forget” to take out some expensive cheese or jam or olive oil at the check out. Works every time

>Last night I went out with 3 friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. After we ate 2 of them wanted to take pictures near the view where we ate and the other one had to use the restroom. They all bailed before the check came and I didn't think much of it when it happened. They didn't come back. I had one of them text me that they ran into other friends while taking pictures and the one in the bathroom left in a rush apparently because of babysitter emergency. I was dumbfounded at the audacity.

that is kind of fricked up lol but use your voice instead of redditting

>I budgeted for 20-30 dollars for myself. Quite reasonable, I didn't drink or have any extras. They were all wasted from a series of drinks.

>175 was the total. It was my entire weekly budget. I didn't want to stiff on a tip because I've been there before and it sucks.

I just hate the clinical way they talk. it's so annyoing

>I texted them the receipt for them to cashapp me or something. Only 1 of them did it (babysitter emergency) so I feel that her situation was geniune. The other two got really offended. The birthday girl said I should be willing to spot her for her birthday. Nah, not when you drink 60 dollars in drinks and order a 30 dollars freaking steak. (All of which when we were dining I thought I could make better at home but that's a different pet peve).

i guess she/her/xhe/him did ask but still. Shouldnt have paid in the first place.

>I don't go out to eat. This was supposed to be a treat. My first girls night out. Now I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to make my existing groceries last longer because I'm out 100 I didn't expect to be.

I mean it sucks but jesus how do people live where 100 dollars ruins you. I get being annoyed but when you're really losing out on nromal shit that's crazy, and to have a kid? peakpoor. Die of poverty.

>A retired software developer told Insider how she went mortgage-free by leaving her traditional home behind to move into a "Hobbit"-style dwelling where most residents are single women over the age of 45.

:marseycoomer2::marseycoomer2:

>The 65-year-old spent $25,000 on a bespoke "Hobbit"-style home in 2020, and another $10,000 on renovations and three years of ground rent to live in the community. The home was designed by Incredible Tiny Homes, which made some adjustments to the property at Runyon's request.

>She has since had the property appraised by an insurer, which said it was now worth more than $50,000. But the financial windfall pales in comparison to other benefits Runyon has reaped from living tiny.

financial windfall lmao

>Runyon says she "wasn't a hugger" before she moved to the enclave. But after setting up a support group for tiny home residents before moving to Tennessee, she has found intimacy easier.

seriously how can i go

Since yall are allergic to facebook (You should really reconsider this) I will bring you some drama.

There is a facebook group called Give Me Your Money, where literally reddit style jannies field begging posts from their adoring fans, then post the ones they deem worthy and pocket half the donations. The reason they give for their grift is that they don't want to give money to people who have done wrongthink :marseydisagree:. They will scour all social media for anything remotely right wing then promptly deny it (regardless of merit. You could lose your entire family in a fire, but if you posted a maga hat in 2017 yoiu're done). But this isn't that serious of a group! They will overfund Dildos by thousands of dollars while the jannies get paid handsomely. ANywyas that's some back story here is my merry band of facebook r-slurs finding out about it.

Think Bardfinn multiplied by 20 people. Keep spreadsheets etc. Although they have a good incentive since it's literally a fricking job. I wonder if they reddit jannies know how good they could have it.

Question: By the end of 2022, I will have made $350,000 before taxes as the sole breadwinner and head of household. This is a great starting point and I’m very aware how blessed we are to be in this position, but I’m always looking ahead on how to improve. I currently have $88K left in student loans (originally close to $150K) and very little credit card debt (less than $2K with more than $25K available). I have two auto loans totaling $170K for two electric vehicles at 5% interest.

I’ve recently been offered a $200K HELOC at 9%, which would help me bring down some of my monthly payments and do some small home repairs and improvements, but I want to make the right moves. And I’ve also been presented with a few long-term real estate investment opportunities that are rental properties out of state and are currently bringing it 10-12% ROI. But my biggest concern is that after taxes, 401(k) contributions, bills, savings and mortgage ($4,500), on paper I’m paycheck to paycheck. I’d like to use this HELOC to consolidate debt while also participating in some of these investment opportunities. I’m the first of my generation to own a home and the first to earn this much annually and don’t want to mess this up. How, specifically, can a financial adviser help me?

Dear Money Guy, should I borrow money (at a higher interest rate than my other debt) to spend more money?

Conservative Party chairman sparks anger by telling people ‘earn more money’ if they are... - LBC

By Asher McShane

In an interview this morning, while making a point about the need for the government to economise, he said the same could be said of households in Britain. “People know that when their bills arrive, they can either cut their consumption or they can get a higher salary, higher wages, go out there and get that new job,” he said. He also confirmed he attended a Champagne reception where hedge fund bosses are said to have ‘egged on’ the Chancellor to press ahead with the tax cutting plans in the mini-budget. He said people should be “lauded” for supporting political parties in the interview on Sky News.

Mr Berry added that he thought the Chancellor himself had been drinking a soft drink rather than champagne.
