We don't do a lot of interpolating but we do use those fricking tables a lot

Lucky. Basically none of our questions were right on a round number so every calculation involved either a 2 point or 4 point interpolation.

I get that it's an important concept but it's a waste of time to do when it's such a basic concept. No point in using 15 minutes of a 75 minute exam to test your Algebra

It's not even that important because in an actual job the software will do it for you. I think they just didn't want students to be able to infer an answer based off what specific points were in the tables.

Anyways heat transfer and fluid dynamics are both much more interesting. Thermodynamics is just boring accounting tbh.

Yeah I'm taking Fluids rn too. Definitely a lot cooler than Thermo. Heat Transfer is prolly next semester for me but it's fricked up how important Thermo is. Statics and Thermo seem to have been the most important so far.

Statics mostly because of FBDs and summation of forces
